Stormy Weather

Limited Edition of 37
Description
It was a normal day in Paris, June 18, 2023; the weather was beautiful. I didn't know where to go or what to do, but my intuition told me to go here and stay. Yet, nothing was happening. I waited and waited some more. It was Father's Day in France; people were coming out of the corner shop with bouquets. It was a Sunday, and there were more tourists than in previous years, I noticed. But still, nothing was happening. However, I obeyed my intuition and stayed there. When suddenly, the wind began to stir, stronger than usual in Paris. Leaves and branches started falling and vanishing in unsettling gusts of wind. Then came the rain, a very heavy rain, increasingly beating down. I hadn't anticipated this rain, but luckily, I had a raincoat (which never happens) in my bag. At that moment, a Porsche passed by, followed by an unexpected old Mercedes. I took photos of them... Then, the rain intensified even more, people ran, and I was soaked. I thought I had to manage to take a photo despite everything, and it's that photo you see. Those people in panicked motion captured in the headlights bring a touch of dynamism to the continuity of the small shop, whose warm lights are like a beacon in this atmosphere as dreamlike as it is gently apocalyptic.
